Kasper Bjørke & Tittsworth on Discobelle

Plant artists Kasper Bjørke and Tittsworth were featured on Discobelle this weekend. They posted Kasper's 'In Gumbo' remixed by Tomboy which is from the 12" with bonus album tracks. Kasper's next single 'Doesn't Matter' featuring the lovely Pierces is getting remixed by Trentemoller, Jack Shidt and Chris Fortier.. more on that soon.

Tittsworth's new DJ mix for Opulent magaine was also posted on Discobelle and his first single 'Broke Ass' just got remixed by DJ Assault and will be coming out in the new year. He is on tour in Australia right now taking B More to Bondi!

Stretch Armstrong & Kasper Bjørke DJ in NYC

Stretch Armstrong & Kasper Bjørke got together to celebrate Kasper's release of 'In Gumbo' in early October at Stretch & Eli's Soundsystem night at 205 Club in New York. Stretch brought some cool ass new school recording device and recorded the DJ sets. This is some funky shit with exlusives and lots of sweet tunes. I think Stretch opens and closes but I am not quite sure where Kasper starts and ends... I guess just dance to it and we will all not worry about it so much...

Kap10Kurt 'Dangerseekers'

Kap10Kurt first 12" on Plant Music 'Dangerseekers' comes out on picture disc and digital download November 5. The single features remixes by France's Tepr and Rolf Honey (Yuksek) as well as an extended original and a remix Japanese producer Shinichi Osawa. The amazing Rolf Honey remix has already been posted by Fluo Kids so go find it there or buy it. We are pleased to able to offer you a remix by Kap10Kurt of Dave Gahan's 'Use You'. Kurt plays Roland 101 in the Dave Gahan band and also worked on the album. I caught them live at the Apple store in SoHo last week and it was really great. Dave was also joined also by Graham Finn (bass player in The Glass) on guitar, Andrew 'Make The Call' Philpot on the buttons, Christian Eigner on drums and some cat with his front tooth missing on bass.

Plant Music CMJ party

Saturday October 20 Plant Music presents a very special CMJ party at 200 Orchard. It's free party from 8pm to 4am with The Glass, 33 Hz, Boy Crisis, Sam Champion & The Mood playing live. The party is co-sponsored by Sparks, Upperplayground and Juxtapoz who will have live art and graffiti by David Choe, Saber and Retna in the front bar area. Kasper Bjørke's is in New York doing a run of DJ dates running up to the release of his album 'In Gumbo' at the end of the month. His single 'Back & Spine' featuring Tomboy remix is out next week on Plant Music 12" and digital download. Here is taste of another remix by Danish producer Fidel Astro.. also check out the awesome video for 'Back & Spine' feat. FM Belfast and the release party next wednesday at Soundsystem at 205 Club in New York. Also Kasper plays tonight at Hiro balrrom with The Glass live (CD release party) and Bloc Party DJs (Kelle + the boys)

Kasper Bjørke's album 'In Gumbo' will be in stores in October on Plant Music. His single 'Back & Spine' is currently #1 on the Danish Electronic Itunes chart and the 12" comes out this week, also on Plant Music. The 12" features a wicked Acid Remix by Tomboy but also two great albums cuts, Liquid Propagnosia Featuring Dennis Young (of Liquid Liquid) & JaConfetti and the ominous Techno groover- Igo Ugo. Stretch Armstrong and Eli Escobar's new party Soundsystem at 205 Club kicks off with The Glass Soundsystem's first New York performance Wednesday Sept 19th. The Glass Soundsystem is a club version of their live show with turntables, effects, keys and vocals. Below is a nice treat, Eli Escobar's remix of The Glass 'Fourteen Again'. Eli has been doing lots of great remixes recently including Justice (with Diplo) and Chromeo. Enjoy

Tittsworth hits Tom's Diner for a bite

Plant Music artist DJ Tittsworth (real name: Jesse Tittsworth) is set to release his debut album on Plant Music in early 2008. The record features guest appearances from Kid Sister, Pase, Stimulus, Diamond K, Michelle Belle, Jinxx and more... Here is one of his boots, a kind of Baltimore meets the Upper West Side thing with Titts having a cup of coffee and a sandwich with Suzanne Vega. I wonder who picked up the check?

Copenhagen's Kasper Bjørke (whose album 'In Gumbo' is coming Oct 2007 on Plant Music) gives us a taste of his recent DJ sets with this 30 minute DJ mix live at the Public Service festival and aired on Danish national radio. Kasper will be in New York in early October for release parties before he jets off to Iceland's Airwaves festival where he DJs alongside his good friend Trentemøller.
